Tail lights

I really don't understand skoda in terms of rear lights. Why make diferent version of light at the back. My kodiaq is the selection version and came with a black trim in the trunk (instead of the tailight trim) , i dont mind but the thing that bugs me is the trunk left and right stop that don't light up .I know this is not a kodiaq only thing, the superb is on the same page.

The thing that i would like to ask is if they have leds in them or not, and if it is a thing that cold be activated via odis .Obd11 or vcds are useless because of sfd2 security i think.
