As per other two threads just posted/updated, I'm really chuffed to have a Fabia vRS in the state it should be. Looking forward to going for a gentle pootle tonight

She just needs some TLC now, beyond the wash I gave her at lunchtime (whereupon it promptly rained!).

As they say, these things come in threes. I think the third was the courtesy car lent to me for the day: totally basic Fabia 1.2 54bhp Classic (with Plus Pack). I had a big grin on my face the whole time I was driving it. Not exactly rapid but really good fun. I don't even smile like that driving the vRS...

So thank you to the area technical bod and to Caffyns Tunbridge Wells Skoda who were friendly, efficient and helpful as always.

I drive around 500 miles per week, commuting to work and back home. I currently have a Skoda Karoq 4x4 2.0 tdi - manual and I'm looking at multiple Skoda Enyaq models. I want to buy one but I cannot decide what capacity the battery should have and what will be better for me. For 71 miles daily and with me charging the car at home over night, I really don't know especially as the car will be second-hand. With me doing 26.000 miles per year, I'm intending to keep the car for a minimum of 3 years,

I've done some research on the higher and stiffer shock absorbers and coil springs which Skoda offers on Scout models and found their aftermarket analogues: * Front Shocks: Bilstein B4 #22-274182 * Front Springs: ??? * Rear Shocks: Bilstein B4 #19-274195 * Rear Springs: SACHS 992 103 (analogue of OEM #5Q0511115AM) My queries are: 1/ What are the higher and stiffer front springs OEM numbers? 2/ Are there good aftermarket alternatives for the same? 3/ Is there better rear

I'm looking at a 2020 Kamiq SEL as a second car, which has the fairly rare 'adaptive' cruise control (not 'predictive adaptive'). I've had mixed experiences with ACC on two Citroens. My recent C5 has it, and it works great and very smoothly so long as you remember that all it really does is keep you on station with the car in front and stop you running into it. Hello all, I'm looking for some feedback from those of you who have their EA888.4 ECU and DQ381 TCU tuned. Ideally, from those with the 245 version, although I'll still happily hear out those with similar EA888.3 245/280 models. I'm currently in between two possible solutions: a comprehensive RacingLine OEM+ Stage 1 ECU/TCU tune, versus a combinations of Revo Stage 1 (ECU) and TVS Stage 2+ (TCU). In both scenarios, I'll be aiming for a 95RON, low-torque file, since I'm not only limited by the

Bit of a long shot here. I have very recently bought a 66 plate Superb estate, which came with a steel 16" spare in the boot. It also came with the foam insert and tool kit for the 18" wheel, which obviously doesn't work. Does anyone have the foam insert from an old 16" sat around that they would be prepared to sell? The garage I bought from were not the most helpful, and I don't think that is likely to change any time soon. Cheers in advance.
