Hello BRISKODA members,

I have a Škoda Octavia II (2009) with the original Bolero radio.

Radio details:

Part Number: 1Z0 035 156 F
Manufacturer: Blaupunkt
Serial Number: SKZ1Z3H3652123
Hardware: HW 007
Current Software: SW 0040
FD: 4808

I am looking for:

The correct firmware update CD/ISO for BOLERO SW0061 (1Z0 035 156 F).
Assistance in obtaining the original radio security PIN code.

If anyone can help with the SW0061 firmware or advise how to retrieve the correct PIN code for this unit, I would greatly appreciate it.

Morning all, I am trying to find the correct size front brake pads for my VRS I bought some from Euro car parts by giving them the registration plate, the pads are 160mm overall length, however upon trying to fit them, they are too short. Does anyone know the correct size before I head back there to try and get the right size? Thanks Dave

First of all, let me start by saying this was neither quick nor easy. My factory Canton subwoofer finally gave up, and my first thought was: “How hard can it be to replace a speaker?” Turns out… very hard. The OEM subwoofer is a 165 mm dual voice coil speaker with 2 x 8Ω impedance, which immediately limits your options. There simply aren’t many replacements available. After quite a bit of searching, I found what seemed to be the best match: Audio System CO 06 D8 EVO Loudspeaker Database Audio

History is that since the coilovers were done, the front-left top mount has aways creaked on turning; classic top mount sound of juddering movement. I've tried rotating the spring a little in case that's a difference but I need to do try some more just to make sure I haven't forgotten anything. In the meantime, the front right has developed a creak which is different. It's a heavier creaky rubber feel to it which is triggered on minor movement/weight shift. Going over speedbumps obviously makes

Hi, I am new to this site but I own a Yeti 2.0TDI 4x4 and it has some very annoying knocking noises from the front mainly, but also the rear, suspension. When the front wheels drop into a rut or where the road suddenly falls away, there is a loud bang. I've changed the F&R shocks/F top mountings/F&R springs, but it hasn't helped. There is also some lesser noise from the rear suspension under the same conditions. Can anyone help me to discover what is causing this problem please because i

Hi Everyone, I have a Factory fitted electric Tow bar. Last time I use, it was 5 years ago I believe. I tried to use it Today no chance not releasing. It has a green light always but whenever I pull it out light changes to red blinking and tow bar is not releasing. I used some wd-40 and rust cleaner but still result didn't' change. I also tried to pull out the tow bar with bare hand or hit the mechanism with a wood or hammer(kindly), still no chance. Anyone faced the same issue?
