Advice on an Octavia I'm on the edge of going for

Featured Replies

Looking for advice on if this is a red flag you'd walk away from or would be happy to go ahead with

  • Skoda Octavia Estate 2019

  • 118000 miles

  • Petrol / Manual

  • 1.0 TSI 115 ps

  • Called a Skoda dealer and they've advised the cars belt is rated for life (180k miles)

  • Likely been driven mostly on motorway miles

Its followed the recommended intervals perfectly all the way until 95k miles (with the dealer). Between 95k and 118k there's no record of a service, so possibly 23k miles without an oil change. Which is odd since it still has 2 years left on a Standard Service Plan so I can't see a good reason not to have had that done.

I plan to get the most out of the car that I possibly can by following services going forwards.

Any thoughts on the servicing discrepancy / if it'd concern you?

Many thanks in advance
