Hi all,

I have a 2012 Monte Carlo in red which is a current run around and cheap/cheerful replacement for a long line of Saabs.

It's a work in progress with plenty of tasks (and a few mods) carried out with more to come.

I’ve had two Fabia estates and now have a 2019 Scala that I’ve had from new. Apart from one electrical meltdown a few years ago the Scala has been a good car. I’m thinking about its replacement. My wife is disabled so we have to have a car with a low easily accessible seat. Not an SUV. We also need a large boot for a wheelchair and other bits and pieces. I think that I might stick with what I know and get another Scala. But I am tempted by the Octavia and its bigger boot. Also if I decide to hav

Hi All My 2011 superb 3.6 is causing me major headsches. Car starts great & then immediately dies. can start it again imeediately no issue but then dies again unless I push the throttle down & get it up to around 25 - 3000 rpm but even then it runs rough & will die again if revs drop Have replaced fuel filter at rear, ensured line from filter to low pressure sensor is clear, have fuel to the in side of the fuel rail(?) . no codes come up when interrogated relating to engine control

I'm trying to troubleshoot a niggle with my 2006 Octavia VRS, that only happens when starting the car after it's already warm. I'll try get a decent video/audio of the symptoms as soon as I can, but wondered/hoped if anyone would recognise the problem from a brief description. Octavia VRS 2.0 TFSI / MK2 2006 / EA113 / BWA / Manual / 123k miles / Stage 1 remap. 2-3 second stumble/chugging sound when engine is started whilst already being warm/recently used. Are we really being told the honest truth here and not being treated as a cash cow for cash strapped local authorities or whatever? I have long thought that motorists have been the target for many local authorities starting with the introduction of parking wardens and parking meters and the whole thing seems to be getting out of hand.
