Dubai Motorshow

Featured Replies

Is anyone planning to go?

I was hoping I would be able go this year. Anyone else thinking of it?

Runs from the 12th-16th of December, and judgeing by the website - wow!

nope, but i'm envious. the place is usually crammed full of flashy motors in the middle of shopping centres, in the departure lounge of the airport, everywhere.

Even saw not one, but TWO maybachs on hot weather testing when I was out there.

You'll love it.

Yup, motorshow here is great.

Beep me if you find me on the Shk. Zayed road, which I'm regularly on. Black Fabia with an engine that doesn't talk a talk a.

Its a gerat show here as mil said, and it would be a great opportunity for ya to see Dubai, its really a great place and in December the weather here is really nice so you can have a great time here..

You'll need around 2 days to see all the cars and take good photos of them if ur planning to come...

slightly more expensive than going to the NEC i think :o

Return airfare with BA is currently around the £300 PP inc. taxes.

 December!! Thats no good at all!!:thumbdwn: I go there on 14th August!!

For real? Give me a ring man and we'll meet up.

I have been to Dubai a few times, but mainly as a stop off. My step mother found out she was pregnant in one of the lounge toilets.

I am not sure if I can go for certain - will have to plauge Dad for some airmiles. Or see if we are going past that way

Is the Trade Center nearer to the Jumeirah beach or Dubai Creek Hotel?

I think that the trade center is nearer to Dubai Creek Hotel

Edit, But you will have to go through some big traffic jam when ur heading to the trade center so better stay in jumairah.. Im sure that mil knows more about this so wait for his reply :p

Sheraton Dubai Creek and Hilton Dubai Creek Hotel are in Deira, the other side of Dubai and far out from the Trade Center because of the evil traffic.

From Jumeirah, it is easier to get to the Trade center during pre-noon hours, and is easy to get back to Jumeirah after 6pm. If you were to stay in Deira, you'd be stuck in traffic trying to get to the TC in the morning, and you'd also be stuck in traffic trying to leave there at 6pm.
