I’ve had my 60 plate vrs for 11 years now. The engine replaced/ reconditioned at 26000. Miles.

Excellent condition outside and in but everything is going wrong now.

Recently replaced gearbox, door loop, but now supercharger is on its way out.

It has 150k miles on the click and I need to commute to work 500 miles a week!

Garage has had to take it apart to discover what the matter is.

Supercharger is 1200 from vw plus labour. Is it worth paying nearly 2k to fix it?

I have used my husband’s car atm for work but I don’t know what to do as I need to tell garage asap.

I know I will hate this car for having to spend so much on it but how should I say farewell to it?

Just decided to upgrade and get something bigger

Did you get it fixed Then sell on?

How did you do it?

I’d love something again with the power and size. I love the size of this once lovely pocket rocket.

did a few little bits but part ex’d it

I got something a lot bigger but wasn’t too bothered about power

Wanted something that looked decent 💪

Thanks for your response. I can’t do anything myself. I could tart up the black wheels but not the supercharger !

It’s done 150k miles so won’t get much I’m sure but it would be a wonderful first car.

I loved my fabia, especially when I put it on Porsche wheels!

But kept the wheels and moved onto a much better car. Was sad for a bit but new car is so much nicer 👌
