Help please!

I have an Octavia 24 plate. I'm getting used to the drive which is pretty smooth but I am having sporadic problems with apparent stalling. Sometimes when I have slowed down to turn at a junction or from waiting at standing atart in neutral, I appear to lose power and struggle to move off. I end up panicking to find gear or stall. Is this just me learning the new feel of the gears or is it a problem with the mechanics/electronics?

Which engine do you have in your Octavia?

I find that when doing low speed manoeuvres in my 1.5tsi (150, ACT) I need slightly higher revs than I did with my previous 1.4 tsi.

It's the 1.5 ACT

if you search for "stalling" in this "Skoda Octavia Mk4" forum, there are other users of the 1.5 Tsi manual who have also experienced this same problem when slowing down..... It is also worth looking at other model forums that use this engine such as the Kamiq and also where it's used on the VW platform
