A few little problems

Featured Replies

I have a few problems with my vRS (55 plate). A few little things - the rear door seal has not been sealed properly and the gear shift gate is out of line (thats all I can imagine it is by the feel), but I am reporting these for warranty repair.

What I am not sure about is that the dash is squeeking - as I have read many times on here, but doing a search turns nothing up for some reason.

What do Skoda do about it, I don't want them to have a look and make it worse when I can just give it a quick bang to sort it for a bit.

If its the center dash rattle, Skoda might just take out the whole dash to fix it - might give you some other unwanted rattles... Or you can go down the DIY route...:D

Nah, its on the far right as you look at it - just above the steering wheel.

Anyway, booked it in with the nice people at Bickerton - I'm gonna talk to them the dash before they do any work.

Try wedging a piece of cardboard between the instrument glass and the upper cowling of the dashboard, that fixed an irritating squeeking noise for me.
