Skoda dealers going bust??

Featured Replies

Don't know if anyone else has posted this, but both Ballamy's of Shoreham and Saltean Skoda have gone bust. Missus went to book her Fabia VRS in for a service last week and there was no-one there.

I believe that another one in Mid Sussex went at the same time.

Does anyone have anymore information as it's left a gaping hole in Sussex for Skoda sales and servicing? I assumed that they were all independant dealers, but this could not have been the case.

You do have Clarion Cars in Worthing, or even, (if you're brave) Crawley Down Group.

Any ideas why 3 went at the same time? Ballamy's have been Saab for years (30+) until GM stiched them up and passed the marque to Frosts.

She has now booked her car into Forest Gate as she works up in Docklands.

among other threads on Briskoda (do a search for 'Saltdean' to find them.

Hopefully something will be done to help us South Coast owners out...

Moose - Crawley Down no good then? Clarion aren't official dealers and I want some warranty work done...

Nick Dray (Retailer Principal) owned all three.
