Got my Octy I vRS booked in for its first service tmrw - just short of 15k miles and 14 months old.

A few questions.....

Its on variable servicing - how much warning do you get for this. I only noticed it with 100 miles to go (appearing when you first switch on the ignition), but I have probably missed it if you get more. Just curious as to how dozy I've been.

Can VAG-COM turn off the "seat belt not on" warning beep?

How long should the service take? I wanted it arranged pretty quickly as I'm off for a few days hol next week and then its the Brisky B-B-Q, so didn't want to wait for a courtesy car to be available, but I'm going to have to kill a few hours with the kids while its done.

My pd 130 gave me 1000mls notice, no reason why the vrs should differ. The local dealer in Bolton had it for a morning i.e 8.30am until 12pm.
