Hi

Featured Replies

Just found this forum. Excellent news.

Live in Manchester area.

Bought a 1.8T Elegance estate(53) this week. Traded in a 52 TDi for it. Will suffer on mpg but the power increase is phenomenal.

Anyway, I turned the key today and all the electrics vanished (LCD screens the lot)

Came back 3-4 mins later and has been fine since. Rung garage and they said bring it on Monday. They had not come across this before. Anyone any ideas??

Hello and welcome

A lot of people are busy at weekends but I'm sure someone in this or the Octavia forum will help if they have knowledge of this particular electrics problem once they come on line :) It should not be beyond your dealer to get to the bottom of it though, methinks.

Regards

Mo

Welcome to Briskoda. Was that a case of absolutely no electrics at all, or just the instruments?
