Nice warm day, perfect time to measure just how fast fabia 1.4 100hp really is

So here it is on VIDEO, 0-140kmh acceleration.. 8,6Mb Speedometer shows 2-3kmh more than actual speed.

About 9 seconds to 90kmh, 1-2 gears

About 12 seconds to 100kmh, 1-2-3 gears.

Full tank, 85kg driver, no spare tyre, tires are 17" 205/40.

You can see that 1.4 is quite fast in first two gears but after that it slows down quite a lot. Perfect for cruising in town

With my 14" wintertyres 0-100kmh time should be just little under 11 secs. 14" winters weight 14,5kg, 17" are just little over 20kg

lol, ya its my time to comment.. Those are almost the same figures I get with my car.. but im running on heavy 17 rims and 225/35 and theres noway that i'll get a wheel spin on a normal road just like ur car coz my tyres r wide and very sticky to the ground.. but man easy on the clutch lol.. I guess u kinda hurt the clutch lol.. i got around 8 seconds from 0-80 and around 12 to 100 too..

I`ll try after 20:00 in finnish time.. It`s now 17:53 :P

Clutch likes to be used Cant get a good time if i feel pity for the car.... In normal situation i wouldn`t do that but when you`re taking it on video you must do everything to get a good time

true lol.. but still I didnt do that when i was tryin to measure 0-100 coz i would feel so srry for the poor baby lol.. but one thing about my driving is that most of the time im goin a bit faster than anybody around me on corners.. what is the top speed that u obtained with ur Fabia??

ummm well after posting this video i thought u must have tried the top speed of ur car.. anyways i got around 187-190 with mine on an open road but it kinda took time and I had 2 passengers...5th gear in the 1.4 16V is very very slow and u can hardly get the car to go to 185-190. but its only good when ur driving at around 80 or 100 on the highway.. My fabia sound alot louder than this though and thats coz of the exhaust i got on it.. sound really awesome and Mil knows how
