Any Joomla! guru's in the house?

Featured Replies

I've been working with the Joomla! CMS this week, on a new project, and I wondered if anyone on here had ever used it, and gotten the hang of it?

I haven't had much to do with any CMS before, never mind start a site from scratch, so it takes a bit of getting used to

I wouldn't mind a look at someone elses work, and maybe compare a few notes along the way.

Enough techy stuff for one week though ... I hear a pint of beer (or two) calling :D

Yep use it quite a lot....

Although I don't talk to them any more for a few reasons I implemented/ did this site (not graphics):

custom-code.co.uk

Also use it for a few others, nut most are in wip stages.

I might have guessed that the Usual Suspects would have had a play with it ... ;)

I'm off to Liverpool for the weekend for a family gathering, so I'll take a proper look tomorrow evening when I get back.

I saw your CAPTIV site Colin, looking good. I might have a chat to you about what your company is offering, a bit later.

Awooga looks good too Q.

The Custom Code site is nifty, I especially like the pop-up nav on the car badges. Very neat.

Anyway, Her Indoors is calling, so I best be off. I'll look around properly tomorrow, see if I can learn anything from the Experts :D

http://www.pubcamping.co.uk is as far as I've got so far. Not too bad, since I'd never even seen Joomla prior to ten oclock on Monday morning!
