Hello everyone,

Have just finished cleaning the inside of the wheels when I noticed a massive difference in tyre wear between the left and right front tyres, is this normal for a Furby? I have seen other posts whereby the Octavia's suffer from it as well. Will get the tracking done this week but wondered if this is one of the quirks of the car?

Is your steering wheel centred? If not its probably your tracking. Mine did this and its now sorted

my front tyres were changed at 26k iirc and were evenly worn across the whole tread so i would say that your tracking is out

Check tracking or stop going round roundabouts so fast

I was getting uneven wear left/right tyres on the original set on the car. but I was repeatedly told that its due to roundabouts and road camber. Now i dont think the 3 roundabout i go half around everyday would have that much of an effect but i do think road camber is a factor depnding on the roads you use and the mileage you do.

If road camber is a factor then why don't every car's tyres wear unevenly? I'd get it checked out by a tyre specialist rather than a main dealer as, imhe, main dealers tend to have a larger range of accepted values for tracking than specialists
