Anyone know what oil this car takes and how many litres?

Is Magnatec 10/40 reccomended for this ?

My local garage said it was pretty much the best oil going...

I did a serach on this but didnt find an answer ...

I use 0w40 in mine. Runs very smooth and does it does not consume it.

why not just use normal 10/40 semi. it won't run any better on fancy oil! magnatec is very expensive stuff when you consider that you can buy asda's own brand 10/40 semi (which is acea a2 & a3 rated) for £6.99 for 5 litres.

well yes, i expect magnatec is probably quite good oil. but because of the way oils are rated (a2 b2) etc etc you know that the quality of the oil will be the same regardless of who makes it. tbh i've never noticed any difference running on magnatec on any cars really. but if you can get 5/50 fully synthetic competion grade stuff then thats somthing much better!!! but you will pay about £40 - £50 for 5 litres, i use it in my mates cossie's and they seem to run sweet on it.
