Liverpool Victoria Insurance

Featured Replies

Have read here how LV is great for moded vRS because they do not charge extra. I went to their web site out of curiosity and it sates quite clearly that they do not insure cars with performance enhancing modifications!

Is this new or are some of their policy holders on this site liable for a nasty shock if they need to claim?

We've been over this a thousand times.

You PHONE them, tell them what mods you have. They check with the Underwriters then come back and say the only mod they don't like is a bigger engine.

Call them every time you plan a new mod to make sure.

Here endeth the lesson ;)

This has been covered on Briskoda, SeatCupra.net and who knows how many other sites btw :)

couple of threads on this already if you search through... they do cover all mods. You need to inform them that you have mods.. ring them not quote on line?

So what you're saying is they don't mind mods. What about chips?
