Hello everybody.

Today was the day that I decided to become a member of this eminent community, after a long time of "lurking". The search function has already awarded me with much sought after information about my wind screen wipers behaving strangely. Facts that will come in handy when I visit my dealers mechanic shop to fix the problem. Unfortunately it is my sincere experience that here in Sweden you sometimes have to argue your case to get the job done properly at the dealership.

Enough of the whining.

I am 44 years old, happy owner of a -01 Octavia Ambiente, and since 8 weeks, also proud owner of a -07 Octavia Elegance, station wagon.

The Ambiente has, until now, been absolutely trouble free and is closing in on 10 000 miles (metric miles, that is.) I have high hopes for the Elegance too, since that is the car that I will be driving.

My nick comes from the world of fly fishing and the Magnus is THE best fly for sea trout fishing on the coast.

As always, I hope that my english is understood.
