within the next few months I'm planning on getting some new alloys for my Fabia.

I recon the Wolfrace Yakuza's look quite cool, slightly different and I'm yet to see a Fabia with them on.

What the word on the street about fitting 18s on a Fabia?

Is it just to much?

Would 17s be a better option?

Any advice/recommendations welcome

Different but could look very cool. Chunky alloys suit the Fabia for sure.

If your gong to make a bold statement why not go for 18's. But be wary they can be a touch heavy for the Fabia.

What problems come from having to much weight on the hubs? Other than wheel bearings

Is there a specific problem with running Fabia's with BIG wheels?
