Fabia Elegance alarm- how to disable?

Featured Replies

Hi all, I've just got a Fabia 1.9 Tdi (almost 2 years old) Elegance. Love it to bits, a stupendous diesel, nice car to drive. It has an alarm, and I gather it has movement sensors? Anyway, my dog likes to come with me, but if I leave her in the car at all, the damned alarm goes off whenever she moves. Does any kind person know how to disable the alarm? I didn't get a manual with the car, so I can't read up on it. Any help much appreciated.

When you lock the car, press the lock button a 2nd time within 5 seconds and it will disable the internal sensors :D
