Hi folks, is it possible to add the date to the radio display. beside the time perhaps. Not to sure if the date is stored in the computer but one would assume that is the first thing you plumb into a computers brain....:eek:

Why store the date on a computer. It just means you need to have a Real Time Clock (RTC) onboard and some form of battery backup to make sure it doesn't go.

If at work we are working on a embedded system, then we only include what is needed and absolubtly nothing else. RTC and backup circuits are not free components so if you are making millions of these every penny or cent counts.

Saying that I've no idea if it is possible by some route on your car , sorry :O
