when i fist got my vrs i was driving down the road and there was an indentical one coming the other way so i gave it a quick flash and hello

well the young lady who was driving it gave me a dirty look and did not return the gesture so i thought to my self i shant do that again

well the other week i was driving and a bloke in a fabia vrs flashed me but i did not get chance to flash him back so the next time i saw a vs i flashed them but again i was blanked

should we make it a site rule that all vrs drivers flash each other or is it just silly lol

I think so, when I had a mini we used to do it and it's a bit of harmless fun.

It's also nice to get a wave.:wave23d:

quite a few people i know flash at eachother because they have the RS badge my old blue one i used to flash to rs owners would get a nice wave back:)

Always get waved at/lights flashed by other Corrado owners though when I'm out in the C...

I think the original Beetle owners started the flashing thing, I remember we used to wave at other Bug owners when my dad had one. I think it was because they were a little bit rarer and individualistic at the time.

I remember being waved once when I was in the Celica - was amazed that some bugger actually likes theirs

The trouble with the vRS is they're too common to be an elite group of enthusiasts like the Bug, Mini, etc Used to wave at other Scooby drivers and always got a wave back, but that was before the ch@vs started buying them

I tend to flash my lights and wave at other vRS drivers if i actually notice them!!

I think i've only ever had 1 or 2 people return the gesture, others just blank me!!

You are likely to get some muppet pulling out in front of you or running across the road because they thought your flash was a signal to them.

I wouldn't bother.

I have flashed my lights at standard Skoda's, only to be greeted by a blank look from the driver. I did toy with 2 fabia's on the M5 and M6 but only because they had young, good looking women driving.
