Help need - Air in fuel line

Featured Replies

Hi, I'm looking for some help, My 05 Octavia 1.9 TDi stopped working yesterday, got it going again after pumping the gas a bit.

But I noticed that the fuel line coming out of the fuel filter has about 3 inches of air in it, I'll guessing this is the problem. As the fuel filter was only changed last month.

How do I remove the air ?

Please don't say it's in the manual as I put it somewhere safe and stupid me can't find it now

are you sure that all the hoses are done up nice and tights. the modern diesels should automatically bleed the air out...
