looking at getting a fabia vrs and having it re mapped. just wondering what is a sensible limit it thems of power and torque so *** not to shorten the life of turbo/clutch too drastically.

Sensible, around 175-180 bhp at flywheel

Max, around 200 at flywheel.

mine is just over the 180bhp mark and the clutch slipped for a while after being done, but it hasnt slipped for over 6 months.

If I was looking for a remap I would try and get one that limits the torque to around stock untill 2.5krpm. After that ask for as much as possible.

Jabba custom mapped mine a few months back and done a really good job, nice power curve up to 4000rpm ...... that's not saying you won't find many other satisfied customers who went to other tuners as well :D

Clutch only slipped once and that was on Hardnott Pass...... and that is canny steep so I will let it off for that one

Saying that, next year I will be popping back for an up-rated clutch so they can tweak the map and release the remaining torque available though.... possibly a blue flame exhaust as well
