Hi Folks, I have an X-reg Skoda Fabia 1.4 MPi which, according to Skoda needs a

new power steering sensor fitted (light comes remains on whilst driving the car

and ocassionally steering feels heavy). They have quoted

You would be better with a ramp to do the job

Sounds about right for the part , but their labour rate will be high as they are a dealer

You could always take it to a specialist like us and the labour rate is cheaper.

Ours is £45.00 + VAT

But could be worth having a go at it yourself

just as well its the sensor and not the steering rack whixh i have just had replaced at the cost of £550 my steering was heavy too!
