My service book says that the first oil service is due at 15000km which is about 9300 miles or 12 months. I'm rapidly approaching 9000 miles, will i get an indicator on the odometer telling me that this service is due? Why does the service book just state KM when the car display reads miles?

Assuming PDI is set up correctly, it should pop up approx 1000 miles before the service is due. I would guess the service book is written for European customers. Might also explain why they use silly units for tyre pressures too!

I'll probly give the dealer a ring to confirm when the service is due as i dont want any hassles if i ever need warranty work etc etc.
