Felicia - fuel pump?

Featured Replies

Hi,

My daughter's felicia 1.3 won't start. It fires and runs for a second or so and then dies. The AA guy thought fuel pump? She's had the locks (and ignition lock/key) replaced recently after somone nicked her keys - could the two be connected?

Grateful for any ideas - thanks

Yep, sounds like an immobilizer issue. Is she using a different key at the moment?

She's using the key that the dealer supplied with the new ignition lock - it worked when she picked it up and a couple of times afterwards. I'll get her to ring the dealer but I suspect they'll not be interested. Is there an easy check on the immobiliser?

Thanks Mick
