If you experince a few issues over the next few weeks with login's not working despite activation, bolt on packages such as gallery and reviews not working as expected, eg asking for registration but already registered, then all I can say is cookies.

Check each box and delete cookies button. You should not effectively be logged out of everything now. Login via forums. You will also need perhaps to login to the gallery and review applications as there is a small mismatch presently in version ties.
