Central looking issue w. Octavia boot

Featured Replies

Hi,

The central looking system will not open the boot, even if one can hear the system "trying" back there...

Anyone having any expereince in a similar problem or any good ideas what to do? Is it easy to open up to reach to put lubricant on the mechanism (if that could be the problem)?

Thanks in advance!

its usally the central door locking motor itself always playing up. you can open the boot by lowing the back seats and unlacting it from the inside. remove tailgate trim panel and yourl see white motor with steel rod connected. you can free it off but usally goes again not long after fixing it.

otherwise has the rear washer stopped working if so check the wiring behind the n/s carpet usally get covered in water and rusts the connectons

hope this helps
