Hi,

I have the following issues with my '05 vRS, after 2 months of agro and 4 of trouble free motoring I thought it had all been resolved, obviously not!

1. Clunk when depressing the clutch, only seems to happen first time then OK after that. No idea what this is.

2. Rattle frrm gear lever when in neutral, was resolved by reseating an engine mount but now back some 5K later. Possibly the same fix or new engine mount.

3. Rattle from centre console, could be linked to the above. Who knows.

4. Fraying seat (don't we all know about this!). Arghh!!!

So I'm after a friendly dealer around Bristol thru to Reading way. I don't mind travelling if the service is good. I'd appreciate any recommendations.

For those of you who know where I live, I'm looking to go a little further a field!

Regarding number 1. My 04 vRS started doing this 3 months after ownership. Turn out I had lost a bolt from an enigne mount :eek:
