Hi All, does anyone know how to make a std Octy Vrs turbo waste sound a bit louder without making any mods ?

Can you adjust the waste gate to make the air dump sound a little louder ?

It dumps the air back into the airbox, so i don't hink you can adjust it.

IIRC somebody did post something about a bottle top trick somewhere on here, but you would need to search for it.

Drill some large holes in the air box. That will "enhance" the sound slightly.

Failing that, a £40 CAI kit from ebay. Its a mod though.

there isn't one :confused:

the only pipes that go into the airbox are the cold air feed, the maf and the secondary air pump air line.

the DV sits in the turbo inlet pipe and takes a feed from the boosted side of the turbo and has an actuator pipe from somewhere or other. when activated it dumps the air back into the inlet before the turbo but after the maf.
