just got ecu for spare am told if i fit it i will need to get it

programed.

i came off a felicia same year and engine

does this still need programing,

and what does it cost if antone knows

You can fit it directly, but most likely will need to "adapt" it to the car.

You need its immobilizer code and that of your current ECU, and find someone with the VAG-COM program (there's a map of people around the UK).

The procedure itself is dead easy - PM me for any help.

Getting the codes from the dealer is the troublesome bit! They want to charge for playing with a PC connected to the car.

No need to program anything on a Felicia (its not that advanced) but you do need to erase the learned values in the control unit (adaptation (10) channel 00.
