I have just purchased a used Octavia VRS 2005 in black magic ( only 13K on the clock - a real bargin ), although not taking delivery for another week or so.

I have a couple of questions which have probably been discussed at lengh on here before, but im not over familar with this site, so if any one can point me in the right direction.

I want to know about Revo ? ( ive just heard the phraze used, don't know that much about it ) tunning/remapping - is this something that can be done by the dealerships etc... what is involved in the various stages, power gains etc, how much does it cost, does new equipment need to be fitted ie a bigger air filter etc...and most importantly will it effect the long term life of the motor ??
