New Fabi RS

Featured Replies

Hi to all.

Picked up my Furbie RS on Thursday and can only say what a Car.

It is hard not to go over the 3000 rpm but i will have to watch it.

My Dealer would like to see the car again after 1000 Miles to give it a free Oil change and a general checkover. I think thats good of him.

One interesting point, before i left the Dealer i sat inside and adjusted everithing.

On the German www.fabiaclub.de i found that if the car done less than 60 miles,

you can reset the counter to zero by holding the reset button for the day trip counter more than 30 seconds. My done 18 miles as i picked it up and as i pressed it, it went to zero. It works. I only wonder what could be done with that? :shhh:

Still, a fantastic car.

Frank

I found you can only do that so many times, you now can't reset it until you've done 19 miles, then after that 20 miles etc, etc. The idea is so dealers can set the mileage to 0 when you pick the car up. But most never do!!!

Matt

Mine did. And then showed me how to do it. Not that I did like.

You can reset the mileage twice up to 50 miles iirc.

Hope your happy with the vRS still, cracking little car and by far the up and comming Skoda :)
