Blaupunkt Woodstock DAB52 question

Featured Replies

I think i'm right in saying quite a few of you have got the Woodstock DAB52?

I'm a little confused as different websites are giving me different information.

The Blaupunkt website says it has 'a' 4v pre-out where as blue spot website says it has 4v pre-'outs'

Can someone clear this up?

How many pre-outs does it have?

Cheers

I know what you mean about pre-outs. Let me see if I can find the manual.

That was quick, found it.

The DAB-52 has a Left and Right Line out(separate front and rear), and also has a dedicated Sub-Woofer output. To use these you will need to buy the relevant cables, bluespot sells them both.

this is the link to the pre-out cable Here

this is the link to the sub-out cable Here

Hope that helps

Ah ha, excellent, cheers

So next question is how on earth does that sub-out work?

Surely it should have 2 RCA cable connectors not just one white one :confuse:

Oh ok......you then need to buy another connector!!!

Make it difficult don't they!!

Yep, by the time you have plugged this cable into that, you end up with a mile of cable you need to squeeze into the smallest space behind the headunit. Still can be done though you need to remove the glovebox so you can get behind the stereo whilst trying to push it back.

Recognise that one - by the time you've got the telephone i/p, aux input and remote control cables + VW adaptor there isn't a lot of room!!
