I have a 2001 Skoda Octavia 1.6i and the aircon just stop working. Eaven the aircon blower/fan to get some air at ambient temp does not work too. Is completely dead. nothing happend when you turn in on. This aircon is the regular one..........Is NOT a CLIMATRONIC.

I undertand that is the compressor is damage, at list the fan/blower has to work in order to have some air at ambient temp.

What you think? Do the Octavia use separated fuses??? One for the compresor and one for the blower/fan???

Tomorrow saturday, I will check the fuses but what other thing you recomend me to check? :confused:

I just leave the car at the Skoda dealer so they fix mu aircon problem. When I was driving I also notice that my left and right directional yellow lights also does not work.

Check fuses and was ok.

I press the Hazard red triangule on the center of my dash and the blinkers work BUT if I wasn to signalized that I going to make a left or a right turn they do not work.

What extrage thing the Aircon and this directional lights got malfuntion at the same time.

let see what the skoda dealer toll me on monday

I had problems with mine working intermittently. Turned out to be the electric fan motor, which was replaced by my local independant garage.

My problem was the ignition starter switch. check this post with the explication
