Upset fabia vRS owner in need of help

Featured Replies

Hi

I

With the amount of grease being lost / reapplied to that cv joint, it can't be goodfor it. That driveshaft is a short one, and I'd be tempted to ask them to fit you a new driveshaft complete, as there must be some "fault" which is causing even new cv boots to split / come loose quickly. :)

Either that, or they've not done a "proper job" as they say down here.

Edit: Don't let one CV issue let the love die. I still love mine despite the ultimate issue. ;)

i really hate those funny clips they fit to the cv boots at the factory/dealers.... i allways throw them away and fit a large jubilee clip instead

Jason I think they say 'prapper jab' in Devon, to be fair mate :D

More "prarrrper jaarb" mate, in a literal sense. :D

fair play

(Its worse in plymouth too)

Seeing your pic Jason reminds me of the old joke - two men get lost in a ball-bearing factory.

One loses his bearings.

The other gets horribly castrated.

Cheers
