Hello!

I'm lucky enough to have had three Skodas - two Octavias, both 1.9tdis - and now a 1.9 tdi Superb Elegance which completely justifies its name. It's excellent as a commuting weapon and as a long distance tourer. The economy is striking for so large a car. There's nothing as good at the price. Why do people buy anything else?

Incidentally, I read but cannot find again a note from someone pleased with his new VRS: but there was a damp rear footwell. If the car has a sunroof the leak may be to do with that. Both my Octavias misbehaved in that way - their only fault. It may be worth looking there.
