On Saturday I found a Chunk had been taken out of the side wall of my Tyre on the Front, so I have ordered a pair of Goodyear Eagle F1's to be fitted on Wednesday by Event Mobile Tyres.

Should I have these two put on the Rear? and have the continentals on the front?

Also, I am running on the spare, which has the same tyre as all the others yet says I should be doing 50mph max, why is this?

Put the new good tyres at the front, That's where you'll feel everything!

The spare tyre is the exact same tyre as your others as you've already said. The tyre is suitable just as well as your other tyres are. But, if your going to go over 50mph, they require you to take off the yellow sticker.

When i had a puncture, i swapped over my tyre from the spare onto the original alloy. Hope this helps..
