Single Din Radio with Climatic - AZ0 600 002

When I bought my Octy 2 Elegance with climatronic last August (2005, but model year 2006) I had my own single-DIN head unit fitted. Parts needed were

AZ0600003 "Double Din Octavia kit" (doesn't specify which Octavia) and cost was 70 euros before tax, say about 50 pounds, and also the canbus adaptor, part number STC857CAN

I guess the AZ...could be A2 as in VRSTu's reply...

many thanks lads mine only is an ambient so which part no. is mine for the single unit ? does the extra little pocket come with that ( the one under the stereo )

Do you have Climatronic or not?

As for the 'tray', I can see one in the catalogue but it shows as deleted so beter ask your dealer.

thanks VRStu mine only has conventional heater blower you know the one hot all the time even when the dial shows cold so any ideas which one suits mine .

its just that i couldn't go thru another few weeks with the sounds in the car now....... stereo ...mono...stereo.... mono...... signal drop-out ........no sound ....sound .... its f@£king lunacy i tells ya

Have you been to the dealer regarding radio reception? There is a known issue and a software update.

WRT the din unit it's non climatronic but check with the dealer to make sure you have the right one.

ah yeah i got the usual garbage .. NO NEVER HEARD OF THAT PROBLEM ARE YOU SURE? ITS NOT DOING IT KNOW... the dealers over here in ireland are v. reluctant to help . hence the reason for me asking you guys the part no.s before i ask them to supply anything at all.. thanks man

sorry stu ive been v. busy you know urself to write back however yes its a stream unit and the car is a jan 06 registered model so production date perhaps oct nov 05???? does that mean the unit is of the older software user and it would need updating do you think ????

It may well be yes. The dealers should have the TSB regarding this.
