Who makes Skoda brake pads?

Featured Replies

I,ll be needing some front pads soon and want to use the same make (lasted 30,000 miles).

I think Skoda charge a lot for them though and wondered if I could save a few quid buying the same make somewhere else.

most of the oem brake pads are made by either bendix, pagid, or lucas depending on which model/calipers you have.

Various suppliers out there will have brake pads, up to the oem spec. Eurocarparts supply brake pads, and I recently had to change my rear pads. Was a few quid cheaper than Skoda-supplied ones, but still a proper Skoda part.

Pretty sure a lot are done by Pagid. I know the audi TT oem pads were Pagids, so I suspect the octy vRS ones probably are aswell.

Got originals 2 weeks ago, made by Ferrodo.

Just go to your local Partco and you will get much cheaper parts. If all you want is the same performance as OEM, they should do just fine.

i allways use mintex pads on my cars, mainly becuase i can get good discounts on them, and also because they never give any trouble and are normally very quiet in use
