Fabia vRS advice

Featured Replies

Righto

been looking at all sorts of cars over the past month mondeo tdci's/vectra cdti/octy vRS etc etc

went to Telfords ( carlisle ) skoda today and ended up in a 55 plate Fabia vRS in corrida red, had 9k on the clock and is going for 10,250 ( with trade in ). This sound about right. Had no options specced, could i do better for the cash?

intended on looking at an octy vRS but the Fabia is amazing, the shove it has in second thru six is amazing:D

anyway, tips and advice appreciated. How much are tyres? can't seem to get a quote on blackcircles..

cheers folks

Tyres about £60 a corner for Toyo Proxes, Khumos or Neros if you can get them.

Has it got any extras? If not, price seems a bit much as they can be had for that brand new (well, nearly).

Top car though, doubt you'll regret it.

mytyres for rubber. :) For £10k flat that vRS should be a good price.

Yep, Mondeo TDCI :rofl::rofl::rofl:

Chris

but that would be well boooring, like a sheep in a field, just following the rest of the dull people ;)

Take a test drive before you buy, ask for a extended test drive and put your foot down, it makes you grin like a cheshire cat :D

Sheep in a field aren't boring when you have velcro gloves... :D

(sorry!)

To the original poster - Yes you can do much better than that price!

Go back to the dealer and tell him you are pulling out as you have seen UK supplied Fabias from internet brokers for 10999 on a 56 plate brand new, and what can he do pricewise?

I bet you he'll drop to 9500 pretty easily.

Best price I can seem top find for a brand new one is around 11300. I think that you still have room to haggle.

Yeah but still tell them 10999!

It was one of the brokers back along offering them at that price ;)

Damn right:thumbup:

I had my car serviced at Telfords and had a nose at that car when I was bored.. but I suggest.........

buy the one in the showroom with the leather!!!! lol.......

I reckon you can get a new one for about another £1000. I would seriously think about a 1 year old car with 9,000 miles on the clock if I could get a new one with a years extra warranty for only another £1000. Plus there are a couple of unoptioned red ones available right now on pre-order (or so my spy tells me).
