Door cards buzzing.....

Featured Replies

.....whenever i turn the stereo up (vol 10 or higher on symphony headunit).

This is SERIOUSLY pi***ng me off!!! It stops when slight pressure is applied to the speaker cover or door card, just below the handle.

Has anyone else had this problem?

How do the door cards come off? If i can get them off i'm gonna try putting some foam rubber in there somewhere to absorb the vibration.

I've found some screws along the bottom but no other fasteners. Are they mostly clipped on or are there some hidden screws etc. There must be something holding the handle to the door through the door card....... somewhere......???

yeah mine does it too and it annoy the tits off me..... grrrrrr

cant be bothered to fix mine tho..

Do a search - there's a guide on how to remove the door cards. In fact to cure the buzzing you only need to remove the screws mentioned, ease the bottom of the card away and stuff some foam up inside behind the door bin. Works a treat...

I had this problem which was apparently due to loose insulation. Stealer fixed it easily.
