Free servicing

Featured Replies

After checking the official skoda website they are currently offering 3 years free servicing. Having bought my fabia at the start of september I've missed out on this deal. I'm not sure what usually happens when servicing, but when my time comes next year how much will i be expected to pay for this and for over the 3 years. I feel gutted to have missed out on the free servicing deal if it really does save u hundreds of pounds.

depedns on model and especially mileage but over three years probably £3-400.

A sizeable amount either way...

Thats life Jim... :) :P

Oh well, I got 3 years' free servicing as a dealer offer when I bought mine...the dealer went bust within months (Forward Motors, Luton) after years and years of trading and I've paid for all my servicing ever since

That's life...:D

The original owner of my car got free servicing when he bough it (in walthamstow, essex). There's a year left and it's gonna need a service soon, but i dunno whether it's worth the hassle of driving to north london from hastings just to get the car serviced........

Ok here is a report for a 1.4TDi

10,000 = £153.70

20,000 = £175.95

30,000 = £146.95

40,000 = £251.94

50,000 = F.O.C (What was Done would have been £150 ish)

Hope this gives a little guide :D over 3 years £476.60

So has anyone here gone for the fixed-price servicing? Made complete sense to me, I've maintinence included too so if anything wears out there's no big bills either.

No-one else seems to have gone for this option... can anyone tell me why not?

If you bought your car on finance then the finance company are liable for the cost of servicing provided you have proof that 3 years servicing was included in the deal.

What actually takes place during servicing? IF any parts need to be replaced would they fix it for u, but surely this would increase the price?

I've just noticed the free servicing deal. Is the purchase date the day you finally sign the agreement or when you place the order and pay the deposit??

Will have to try for the former. If so, bargin
