Yup before ya all say theres lots on hear about fitting aftermarket gear knobs.....

Ive lifted the gator off and thespring clip off but the knob still stuck (oooo arrrr)

Have i missed something !!!!!

I presume you've already tried giving it a good hard tug? (Sorry! :D)

IIRC, someone did post something about it needing to apply a goodly amount of pressure to remove it.

Try dynamite :hbomb: .... sorry, the Chenin blanc is taking effect. Try clamping a pair of "mole grips" (locking pliers) around the shaft to give you something to pull / twist against so as not to strain the mechanism.
