since i had the flywheel/clutch and release bearing changed when i try to put up or down the windows they wont go up or down unless i hold the switch down. it used to move when i pushed the switch down and let go then it would carry on on its own..now it dont...is this something to do with the vag-com, as it may have been affected when the battery was removed...i dont know...just guessing here...any ideas please

Disconnecting the battery disables the 1-touch operation. To solve, either hold up/down the window winders for a few seconds at the end of their travel, or use the key-in-the-door method of dropping and raising the windows.

Basically, the car doesn't know where the end of travel is so you have to help it relearn
