I purchsed some tyres on the 09/10 and paid online via Switch. I had all the normal order placed etc emails.

On the 11/10 I recived :

Confirmed order and invoice no. ********

This is the original bill. Please print and keep it for future reference.

11.10.2006

The amount of GBP ******* will be charged to your credit card (Switch).

Planned date of delivery (dd/mm/yyyy): 18.10.2006 DPD-Parcel number(s):

So I recived the tyres on the 12/10 but I still haven't been charged for the tyres. I though possibly they would charge me on the 18th, but nothings come out.

So wondering if people who have used them before have any idea on the way they got charged?

If they didn't charge you on the day you placed the order, it's near certain that they'll charge you on the day they're shipped. That's usually how the merchant payment systems operate, usually being tied into some kind of stock control system.

I can't remember what happened when I last used MyTyres, was for a friend earlier in the year. But I definitely got charged!

Maybe they're having a problem with their payment system, or it's been delayed for some reason? Maybe a problem with their payment provider?

Steve

They may have requested the transaction on the 18th. Depending on who they bank with, it may take several days before shown on your account.

It sounds as though there's been a hiccup somewhere.

You may receive another set of tyres, and another bill, as the planned day of delivery is tomorrow.

I'd ring them and explain,as hiccups like this often occur.

eventually they take the dosh. ;)
