How does the pedal box trim come off?

Featured Replies

My VRS has a niggle in that the clutch pedal and sometimes the brake pedal seems to 'click' or catch on something. It's intermitent and I don't think anything is seriously wrong but its beginning to bug me. I also notice it sometimes through the pedal when turning the steering. I suspect it will be something in the pedal box but can't figure out how the trim panel comes off to have a look (without resorting to force). I've undone the four 'star' headed screws I can see but it doesn't seem to budge, anyone know what else I need to remove to get at it?

some info on my website in the cruise control section.

Thanks that's really usefull.

Anyone out there had this problem and knows a fix?

I've fixed a couple of 'clicky' clutch pedals just by refitting the trim. Others have had new clutch cylinders fitted.
