Thanks!

Snoopie, how it would be possible to do? I think that it was very intresting idea, becouse 1.3 + turbo = so much horses and weight of the car din't big than if we installed 1.8t. I am search some turbokits for felicia, but can't find something. You or your frinds didn't see?

I'm sure it can be done, but I honestly don't know of anyone who's done it. Try going to Google (that's Google Uk, not Google US which doesn't have the UK sites only control), and search for "MG Metro Turbo", restricting the search to UK sites only. That should at least find you a suitable turbocharger and carburettor, but I think you'll need custom manifolds and an exhaust downpipe.

Wwlcome to briskoda.

Further thoughts on this - EC spec Felicias are all fuel injection, Engine Management System and catalytic converter equipped, in which case forget what I said about carburetors. You'd be better to go with a custom EMS such as an "Emerald Diamond" (no mistake, it's a trade name) system. Dave Walker of Emerald and his staff are better equipped than I am to advise on correctly sizing replacement fuel injectors and fuel pumps. They'll probably want to know what sort of power you'd be looking for, whether or not you'll be fitting an intercooler (I would; if nothing else it will get round the requirement for a custom intake manifold, and reduce the risk of melting the engine) and what sort of compression ratio you intend to run.
