Ipod Nano to fabia stereo?

Featured Replies

It looks like I am going to jump on the band wagon and get a Nano, there are a couple of questions I have first.

1) How easy is it to connect to the Fabia stereo (06 vrs)?

2) Does it allow you to find songs by album so that I'm not scrolling constantly just to find a certain track?

I popped into currys.digital and asked about car connection, they asked if my stereo has a line in  they suggested this wireless thing that uses a blank FM radio station to play the ipod through, it's by Belkin. Strange though, when I found it on dixons website it says not for UK use!

Yeah it could be Stu, the part number sounds familiar. Where on earth would you mount your Ipod then? Would it allow you to scroll through albums? I don't even know if the Nano has this option :D

With that kit the Ipod sits in your glove box.

It's the same as a Denison Icelink but without the cradle.

It's thirty quid and no messing about with fitting etc so I may try it. If I don't like it I can always sell it on ebay

I have already got a list of ipod accessories that I want :D

A leather case because of the ease of scratching

Proper in ear (buds) headphones

Jack leads to plug into my home stereos

Etc, etc :D

yeah, the radio authority (what ever they're called) have thrown a paddy, since it's essentially "broadcast without a license" :(
